Delivering comprehensive local authority highway structure inspection regimes for diverse portfolios, including bridges, culverts, and retaining walls. This included using specialist suppliers to undertake difficult-to-access structures, such as the bridges spanning tramlines and culverts with confined spaces. 

Our role involved deploying specialist inspection teams to carry out the full programme of principal and general inspections. We arranged highway permits, temporary traffic restriction orders, Metrolink permits, Canal & River Trust permits and specialist access teams to ensure all elements of the structures were inspected. In addition, the team produced detailed, high-quality inspection reports and maintenance recommendations for the local authority.

Our team worked in close collaboration with the local authority to plan and schedule the inspection works efficiently. We coordinated with all relevant stakeholders, including transport operators and local community representatives, to ensure all inspections were carried out safely and with minimal disruption to traffic flow and the public. This meticulous planning was critical for sensitive locations, such as the structures located near tramlines, where precise timing and access arrangements were essential for project success and public safety.
