LBR Associates is an independent consultancy based in Manchester, delivering expert civil and bridge

engineering services across the rail, highway and local authority sectors. We pride ourselves on building open,

Through our collaborative relationships with other consultancies offering complimentary services to ourselves,

we deliver comprehensive levels of service to clients.

Our team includes Chartered Engineers with the Institution of Civil Engineers, united by a shared commitment to

consulting excellence, trust, collaboration and long-term sustainability. These values guide every aspect of our

Meet the Team

  • Mohammed Fraz Iqbal

    BEng (Hons) MSC CEng MICE

    Fraz is a Chartered Engineer with

    significant project and design

    management experience on multi-

    disciplinary rail projects. He brings to any

    project a calm head that is focused on

    delivering schemes on time and to

    budget.

  • Hamish Dunlop

    MEng (Hons) CEng MICE

    Hamish, a co-founder of LBR Associates,

    is a Chartered Engineer with experience

    leading project teams of up to 20

    engineers. He is passionate about the

    role the built environment will play in

    achieving net zero and the difference

    infrastructure has on wider society.

  • William Holly

    MEng (Hons) CEng MICE

    William, a co-founder of LBR Associates,

    is a Chartered Engineer with significant

    experience delivering solutions to

    complex engineering problems. He

    specialises in the design and assessment

    of highway and rail structures.
