Description
Residential development of approximately 50 dwellings in Colne, Lancashire. The scheme involved the replacement of an existing bridge, which was not suitable for adoption by the Local Authority.
Our role included the design of the permanent works for the replacement bridge, which is a fully integral steel concrete composite bridge.
Understanding the needs of local authorities adopting infrastructure ensured constructive discussions with the local authority TAA. Our team also worked closely with Beaver Bridges to ensure our design aligned with their construction methodology and availability of materials.
